What is unique about teaching teachers?
An update from the Teacher Development Trust (TDT).
Even though TDT are moving away from NPQ provision after the current cohort, they are not resting on their laurels: they are working on other ways to support teachers and leaders in their practice.
Here at the Julian TSH, we're excited to see what comes next for our friends at TDT, so we were delighted to see this update:
"What is unique about teaching teachers?
In February, we gathered education experts from across the UK to discuss this very question.
The fascinating conversation that ensued covered everything from balancing practical experience with theoretical knowledge, to teacher autonomy in learning, to the concept of an “expert” in training models.
For the next stage of these conversations, we need wider input from teachers and leaders. If you are interested in contributing, whether through discussion, research or collaboration we’d love to hear from you."
