NPQH: Meet your facilitators

This NPQ is delivered in partnership with TDT.

If you were fortunate enough to snap up one of the limited funded places on our autumn 2024 NPQH, then here's your chance to meet your facilitators:

Drew Howard

Drew has a wide range of experience in various school and college settings, both in the UK and abroad. He has previously been a headteacher, a deputy headteacher, and a SENCO. He is currently Director of School Improvement at Broad Horizons Education Trust.

Drew earned his Master's in Public Leadership and Management this year, while last year he published a book on teaching and learning.

Having studied for the NPQH in 2016, Drew is excited to be helping facilitate this cohort's ongoing professional development.

Tom Pinnington

Tom has been teaching for 21 years, beginning his career in Leeds before being called back to Norwich. Within that time, he has worked in four different schools in a diverse range of roles, from pastoral; to teaching and learning focused; and more recently the privileged position of headship.

Tom is now in his sixth year of headship, which he believes was to some extent catalysed by undertaking the NPQH.

Tom has previously co-facilitated the NPQSL for the Julian TSH, and is a firm believer that the NPQs provide the best summary of evidence-informed practice and CPD to prepare teachers for the next step in their career.
